Role Description: The Speech Language Pathologist position is a full-time, on-site role based in Santa Rosa, CA. This role is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders across a diverse client population. Daily tasks include conducting standardized and informal evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct therapy in individual and small group settings. The Speech Language Pathologist will document progress, write comprehensive reports, communicate findings and recommendations to families and caregivers, and collaborate with other professionals involved in client care. The role also involves educating clients and families on strategies to support communication at home, maintaining accurate records, and staying current with best practices and professional standards.
Pay: Full-time pay range is $130,000-$146,000 per year. SLPA supervision role earns an extra $5.00 per signed note.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy, including evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Speech and Communication Disorders, with the ability to address articulation, fluency, and pragmatic language needs.
- Candidates should possess skills in assessing and treating Language Disorders, including receptive and expressive language challenges.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility, and state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in California.
- Strong interpersonal, documentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a client-centered team environment.
- Experience in outpatient or clinic-based settings and familiarity with evidence-based practices and ethical standards in speech-language pathology.
